Nicole was born and raised in Northern California, with frequent visits to La Veta to connect with her family. In 2008, she made the decision to establish her permanent residence in this scenic mountain town. Nicole’s professional journey began at an early age, working alongside her family in their locally owned businesses, including The Dog Bar & Grill, The Country Store, and a gift shop in Cuchara, where she contributed during the summer months. Later, Nicole worked with La Veta Propane and served as a Volunteer Coordinator for Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care, assisting both Huerfano and Las Animas Counties. These roles ignited her passion for helping others, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in real estate. She attended Kaplan University, earning her Broker Associate license, and later expanded her credentials with an Employing Broker license. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Nicole has been a dedicated community volunteer, serving on a number of local boards. She is currently the President of the Spanish Peaks MLS, a position she has held since 2017, and has held various other positions within the organization. Nicole’s community involvement also includes serving on the La Veta Boosters Board, the Huerfano County 4-H Board, and playing a key role in establishing the Huerfano County Youth Recreation Leagues. She is committed to providing exceptional service to her clients, working diligently to help them achieve their real estate goals.
