I fell in love with Southern Colorado in my yearly travels from Santa Barbara, California in 2004. The people and the place stole my heart.
I purchased my sweet property here in 2008, knowing that I’d found “home”. The incredible landscape here, the one-of-a-kind community of La Veta/Cuchara, the magnetism of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains and Spanish Peaks propelled me to plant seeds that have grown into deep roots and an utter reverence for this area.
A visual and recording artist for 23 years, and very much a “people person”, I owned and operated the Whitmore Gallery on Main Street in La Veta from November 2010 through April 2015.
