Those who know say that the Cuchara Valley and Southern Colorado has a magnetic quality, a way of drawing people back to the mystery and the magic of this amazing and very special place. And so it was true for my wife, Dona, and I, after a short stay in August of 2006, we arrived in the Cuchara Valley in the summer of 2007 to make our home here.
